How It Works

The process is designed to be straightforward. Here is what to expect from proposal to summit day:

  1. Submit your proposal by June 1, 2026. We ask for a working session title, a brief description of your session, and links to your website and social channels. That is it for step one: we keep the initial ask light.
  2. We review all proposals and notify every applicant by June 3, 2026. If we think you are a fit, we will reach out to discuss your session in more detail before confirming your spot.
  3. Accepted speakers record their session and submit it by September 11, 2026. We will provide recording guidelines and technical specs when you are confirmed.
  4. Your session airs live during the Own Your Time Summit, October 6-8, 2026. You will receive your affiliate link and marketing assets well in advance so you can promote your session to your own audience.
  5. You earn 50% affiliate commission on every All-Access Pass sold through your link: before, during, and after the summit.

The Own Your Time Welcome Box

The first 100 All-Access Pass buyers receive a physical Own Your Time Welcome Box in the mail. This is one of the most talked-about elements of the summit: a tangible, real-world touchpoint in a virtual event.

Speaker inclusion in the Welcome Box is not guaranteed but may be available depending on sponsorship levels. We will communicate this to accepted speakers as details are confirmed. If getting your brand physically in the hands of attendees is a priority for you, ask us about it when you submit.

Door Prizes and Bingo | Donate a WOW Moment

Each day opens with a live Welcome Session that includes a door prize drawing. Speakers are welcome to donate a door prize: and we set the bar high on purpose. Think Apple AirPods, iPad, round-trip airline tickets, lifetime software access, or a premium coaching package. These are WOW moments, and the sponsor or speaker whose prize is drawn gets on-stage recognition from Eric in front of the entire live audience.

We also run a daily Bingo game throughout the summit. Bingo prizes are more flexible: a free trial, a coaching call, a physical product, a gift card. A great low-barrier way to put your name in front of attendees multiple times across all three days.

Common Questions

Do I need to be a well-known speaker or have a large audience?

No. We are open to both established voices and newer experts. What matters is that your content genuinely serves our audience. That said, speakers who bring their own audiences benefit more from the affiliate commission structure: so having an email list, podcast, or social following is a plus, not a requirement.

My topic is adjacent to what you described. Should I still apply?

Yes. Submit what you do best. We will evaluate fit. The goal of every session is to help business owners leverage help and grow their revenue: if your work connects to that goal, make the case in your proposal.

Will my session be live?

Sessions are pre-recorded and broadcast on a synchronized schedule so attendees watch together and can interact via live chat in real time. What are the recording requirements?

We will share full technical specs with accepted speakers. Generally: good lighting, clear audio, and a neutral or professional background. We will give you everything you need to record a session you are proud of.

How does the affiliate commission work?

You will receive a unique affiliate link to promote the summit: specifically the All-Access Pass: to your audience. Every sale that comes through your link earns you 50% commission. You can promote before, during, and after the event. The more of your audience you bring, the more you earn.

When will I hear back after I apply?
